Pre-trib Rapture Evidence

Rev 1 The post-tribulation rapture view does not fit into scripture, for who will be the ones to go into Messianic kingdom to populate, marry and have children, if all the saved are given resurrected bodies? There must be humans who sin for Satan to deceive anyone again according to Rev. 20: 7-9.

It is very sad to think that there are those who spend an inordinate amount of time and energy trying to disprove the pre-trib rapture. Some have even said it did not originate till 1830 by a vision of an unschooled girl named Margaret McDonald brought to the churches attention by a scholar named John Darby. Quite the contrary, archeologists have uncovered many early church teachers manuscripts who all wrote of a pre-trib rapture. The same ones who confirm a 6000 year time line for man.

Another provocative aspect to a pre-trib rapture is in Matt. 16:18. "And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it." Kataschuo # 2729= overpower, annihilate The demons can tempt and shoot arrows but can not over come the church. This is not the case during the Tribulation. These elect will die by the hands of Satan and be physically overcome.

Rev.13:7-8 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. {8} All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Lk.21:34-36 after describing the signs of the end-times, Jesus tells them to pray they may be able to escape all these things which must come to pass. For it will come as a snare to those who are left. Dwell=’kathemai’ (sitting, remain) #2521

In Rev. 1; 12, the 7 lamps are the churches, verified in verse 20. In Rev. 4, the 7 lamps are now in heaven, just prior to Jesus opening the seal of the scroll announcing the judgement on Earth.

In Rev 2 & 3, Jesus concludes the letters by "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches" Rev. 2:7,11,17,29. Rev. 3: 6,13,22. But notice Rev. 13::9, no more churches.

In Rev. 3:10, we are the church at Philadelphia. He says: "I also will keep you from ['ek' -means out of] the hour of trial [# 3986, proving, testing or temptation] which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell [#2730 katoikio 'to house permanently'] on the earth. " Why? Because we have persevered, kept the faith.

Jesus is talking to the churches. In Rev 4:1, He tells John [his most beloved] that after these things - what things? The church age- "Come up here, and 1 will show you things which must take place after this. " The Tribulation.”

Rev.19, We return with Christ at the end of the Tribulation and are called His wife v.7. Soon to enjoy the wedding reception supper, on earth during the Feast of Tabernacles that ushers in the Messianic Kingdom.

1 Thes. 5:9, God did not appoint us to wrath [ #3709 orge’ anger exhibited in punishing] but to obtain salvation through our Lord.

Rom.5:9 ….having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

1 Thes. 1:10........ and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath (#3709 'orge '= vengeance, punishment, indignation for sin of unbelief) to come. Also Jn. 3:35 (the wrath of God is for those who do not believe in the Son.)

I Thes.4:13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout,(‘keleuma’#2752 [a cry of incitement] only time this shout is used, usually ‘epiphoneo’2019, Acts 12:22) with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words……… also. *ICor.15:51

It is not a comfort to think we are going through a tribulation where we would have to see our children mutilated or starving to death or where our eyes will pop out of our sockets and our flesh melt off our bodies and our tongues dissolve in our mouths. [Zech 14:12]

2 Thes.2:3,7,8 Let no one deceive you by any means; for “THAT DAY” will not come unless the falling away (646 apostasia= separation, departure, remember the context) comes first and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, see footnote in Amplified version)………For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed. What does lawless mean?

Throughout the Bible God has often poured out His judgments on the unrighteous but not without warning. We are now in warning.

I know the church has suffered with many martyrs, (to the Glory of God Jn.21:19) but The Wrath is different and is on the whole world for the sin of unbelief. (Jn. 16:8-9 and Jn.3:35) It is a very specific time talked more about in His Word than anything else. He does chasten to bring His children back to a closer relationship, but The Wrath of Indignation is a specific future event not meant for His bride.

There have been many pictures of how God spares the righteous before judgment:

Gold nugget...John 11:24-26 KJV "Martha saith unto him, I know that he [Lazarus] shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. {25} Jesus said unto her, 1 am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in (into) me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: {26} And whosoever liveth and believeth in (into#1519 'eis', denoting entrance) me shall never die. Believest thou this?" We normally think Jesus is just repeating what He says in verse 25. But if you look closely He is saying: and who ever lives [or whoever is alive at the resurrection] who believes in Him in no way shall die [physically or spiritually]. The resurrection and the rapture are the same event.

Original greek: to Him Martha, I know that he will rise again in the resurrection in the last Day. said to her - Jesus, I am the resurrection and the life; the (one) believing in Me, though he die, he shall live; and everyone living and believing in He, in no way shall die forever. Do you believe this? Isa 26:19-21 NKJV "Your dead shall live; Together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and sing, you who dwell in dust; For your dew is like the dew of herbs. And the earth shall cast out the dead. {20} Come, my people, enter your chambers, [#2315'Chedar'] And shut your doors behind you; Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, until the indignation (see* Isa.66:14) is past. {21} For behold, the LORD comes out of His place To punish [#6485 'to judge'] the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity (of unbelief). The earth will also disclose [bring to light] her blood,[bloodshed] And will no more cover her slain."

ABAD # 6, vanish Isa 57:1 "The righteous perishes, [vanish] [ABAD # 6] And no man takes it to heart merciful men are taken away, while no one considers that the righteous is taken away from evil." Wow! see this one.

Ps. 12:1 "Help, LORD, for the godly man ceases! For the faithful disappear[#6461 'pacac'] from among the sons of men." Mal 3:17 "They shall be Mine," says the LORD of hosts, "On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him."

Ps. 47:5 God has gone up (5927 alah fetched or caused to go up) with a shout, (#8643 teruah) The Lord with the sound of the trumpet.

Ps. 27:5 For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. Zeph.2:3 Seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth. Who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord's anger.
